To win in Indianapolis as an American and a fan of the Indy 500 since I was a kid, as well as knowing I'm going to get my plane out on the track and kiss the bricks is still so surreal

I had the line down really well. It's just the Vertical Turn. I don't know if people are turning earlier than us. We're losing time in the VTM and that's where this race will be won or lost

I felt really comfortable today. We did a lot of nice preparation on the track, and it worked. We know what we have to do, and the whole idea is to try to keep stealing tenths of seconds

Of course we are not happy with the result. The flight itself was more or less what I prepared beforehand. So it's probably an engine setting

It's a great feeling to win Qualifying, but on the other hand there are no points for winning Quali, so tomorrow is the day. I have no magic

Of course when you're in the same location multiple times you can use the data, but you have to be aware of the changing factors

I'm disappointed to have my mistake on Race Day. I had clean training sessions and Quali and then to have two penalties on Race Day... I need to do something about that

I'm satisfied with how I flew, I was probably still a little bit too conservative in the VTMs with the roll. Watching Martin fly, he's cutting that corner out. I was probably also a bit soft on the G

We took the delays in our stride, just super relaxed and waiting for it. The times don't reflect how happy we were. We were happy with the results because we had a few little things we were working on

Today the Round of 14 was amazing for us because the feeling was really great. We had tactics and lines that I followed well, and the VTMs were nice, but the time was a surprise

It was one of the best Qualifying sessions we have had so far in terms of time, but not efficiency. We were good on all our tactics, it's just that it wasn't all in one run

Good time overall – not a good ranking, but it was only Free Practice. I think we can be competitive, we just have to work out what's going on and where, which we almost know

Of course it's a disappointment but the flight itself was not that bad, so let's see in the next race

In the first run I rolled earlier, but the other two penalties are very questionable. So we'll look at the video on the tail cam. We'll have a steady run tomorrow, if we do that we're going to be on the podium

I like the handling and flight characteristics of my raceplane with the winglets on. I think we can push a little harder, I think we can shave 0.6-7s off our time

It feels great to be able to complete a Race Day as planned and end up with some points and on the podium. It's been a tough season, there have been races where I felt I should've done better

I was hoping for a little bit more I think. But there was clean flying in tough conditions. As we saw today, it's really easy to give up a lot of time. I think I know where I did it

I'm pretty happy with that second Free Practice session, it felt good out there and we fixed a few of the things that I wasn't happy with in the first run and I'm starting to feel comfortable

I was able to take Sonka out in the Round of 14 and I guess I found the racing line, but then in the Round of 8 I guess I lost it again

I wish I knew... even without our two second penalty we're slow. I don't understand it, we're trying to figure it out and that's about all I can say

We had an issue with the aeroplane, with the trim. It didn't work out that good for me, but it's taken care of so hopefully the next one will go better

It's been an eventful weekend for us. What's really nice is that the accumulation of this whole week came good in the end

We'd worked out what the issue was in Free Practice – we weren't generating enough power. Quali 1 run was good, the track had slowed down, but our time was competitive and then we tried to eek out too much in run two and it didn't work

It wasn't too bad today. It's still not quite as quick as we would've liked to have been, but there's a few more things to try. I'm picking up a few too many penalties, the plan was to try and be as clean as we could

It was a very frustrating flight, really, because we had expected a much better result from the beginning. We began the Free Practice flights very well here, but since the Quali the timings just collapsed

It's been fantastic from the Free Practice flight, but less successful this afternoon. We'll now be working hard to figure out what happened, because we were expecting much better times, we'll see. But right now we don't know

The track was exactly how I expected it. I like this track, I remember last year that it wasn't a difficult track for me and I had a lot of fun in it

It's really, really nice. We worked a lot as a team and we trusted what we did. The podium is good, but the best feeling was in the plane and we are heading the right way

So far I'm satisfied. With my second flight I was almost two seconds faster than the first flight. We know exactly where I was faster, but it's quite good

In the first flight I didn't feel comfortable in the track with the plane, and I was not really aggressive, maybe because I hadn't flown since the last race. In the second run I tried to be more aggressive, but I was slower

I heard Petr's time in the Round of 14 so I played it conservatively, that was the gameplan. Then in the Round of 8 I was a little bit more aggressive, and that's what I had to do, but I made a mistake after the VTM

It felt very good, especially the first Quali run. I was very focused and I flew clean and aggressive, exactly the way I wanted, so the result was really good

The first flight wasn't bad, but we knew we could improve in some places, especially in the Vertical Turn. I was pushing the limits in the second session, but this is where we need to push those limits in Free Practice

Generally it was not a bad run, but the whole thing fits the whole year. It's been a little bit of a huge unlucky year, 2018

I'm not really pleased with sixth, I think the wind played a factor and we have to find two seconds on Martin, he was unbelievably fast in these conditions

I'm happy. I love being in the States, I love being in Indianapolis. Some of the biggest memories I have are here, because I got the World Championship here in 2016 and I've been on the podium here twice, placing one and two

We are super sad and disappointed with the overall result, how slow we are. We really didn't figure out what's causing the problem

The plane was not performing well, we're losing power. I don't know what happened, probably the wrong engine setup, but we'll go through the data, analyse and check everything and hopefully we'll be ready for tomorrow

I love the track here. I don't like the static start, but I like the track. The conditions keep changing, which is good

It's good because we went to the Round of 8, but I was looking for something better. I need to find out where I made a mistake to get that Round of 8 time

We're happy with my clean run. We're in the middle which is good. I still need to study the VTM and the way to use the G-forces and try to increase the efficiency in that manoeuvre

It's great to be back here. It's a beautiful track, and it has so much history related to motorsports, so it's a privilege to race at Indy
