Chiang amazes in final Free Practice

New Challenger Kenny Chiang, tops the final session before Qualifying

Chiang impressed

New Challenger Class pilot Kenny Chiang, topped the Free Practice 3 timesheet in only his second race. He put in the fastest time of the weekend so far with a blistering 1:11.632, which included a one second penalty for a smoke violation, but it was still enough to see him top. This will give him real confidence going into this afternoon's Qualifying session.

Current Challenger Champion, Florian Bergér was second on the timesheet, with a 1:12.030, nearly 0.700s faster than his time yesterday, but 0.398s slower than Chiang. Luke Czepiela was third finishing 0.792s behind the Chinese pilot.

Daniel Ryfa, who won here last year could only set a time that was 1.789s behind the leader and saw him finish in fourth place.

Baptiste Vignes, another new Challenger posted a 1:15.225, which saw him fifth on the timesheet and Daniel Genevey was sixth, but unable to put in a clean run. He collected penalties for incorrect level flying and insufficient smoke.
