120,000+ fans flocked to Chiba to witness the first ever high-speed, low altitude Red Bull Air Race in Japan. Despite adverse weather earlier in the week, the race was a huge success, with Paul Bonhomme, Matt Hall and Matthias Dolderer taking the podium on Race Day.

Yoshi was on course for a stellar performance after setting a track record, but a last-second DNF result saw him knocked out in front of a home crowd. The Japanese pilot was quick to thank his fans, saying that it's almost impossible to show his respect for their amazing support.
