In the final session before this afternoon's Challenger Class Qualifying, Kevin Coleman drew a line in the sand and challenged the other pilots to try and reach it.
The American posted a time of 1:14.427 In his second run of the session and nobody was able to top it.
Ben Murphy came closest to Coleman, finishing just 1.657s behind. The two have been strong all weekend and will be fully focused on this afternoon's session.
This technical track is not proving easy for the Challenger Class pilots and they are picking up plenty of penalties in the 16 gate circuit. Melanie Astles was unable to put a clean run together and will be frustrated with her times, the fastest of which was 1:19.000, but included five seconds worth of penalties. Her net time would've seen her finish at the top.
Luke Czepiela also struggled in the morning session. He picked up six seconds worth of penalties in his fastest run.
The Challenger Class Qualifying starts at 15:00 local time. You can follow the action HERE.
