In Free Practice 2 today Challenger Cup newcomer Kevin Coleman topped the timesheet, with the American pilot posting a time of 1:05.481 and sending a clear message that he's in it to win it. Close behind Coleman was Florian Bergér, who is entering his second season in the Challenger Cup here in Abu Dhabi.
Britain's Ben Murphy, another new Challenger for 2016, finished the second session in fourth place and collected a few penalties including a pylon hit. Returning pilot Luke Czepiela struggled to post a quick time as he readjusted to the high pace of the competition.
In the earlier Free Practice ice-cool Daniel Ryfa posted the fastest time of 1:06.007 and looked confident in the track. He was closely followed by Brazilian Francis Barros who was just 0.857s behind.
Tomorrow the Challengers have one more Free Practice session before Qualifying. Catch the action live here.
