How the G-inspection works

We've all heard Jim DiMatteo tell the pilot they've exceeded the G-limit and instruct them to return to base. This is because the pilot has gone over 12G and needs to get back to their hangar so that a G-inspection can be performed – but what does that entail? It's all explained here...
